Hi, I’m Ashley, a lifelong flower lover turned florist, and now a proud real estate agent. For as long as I can remember, I’ve found joy in creating beauty and bringing comfort through flowers, whether it’s designing the perfect bridal bouquet or simply brightening someone’s day with fresh blooms.
My journey has always been about people. I believe some of life’s most defining moments, like weddings, new beginnings, celebrations, and goodbyes, deserve care, intention, and heart. That same belief is what inspired me to pursue my real estate license. Buying or selling a home is one of the biggest decisions in a person’s life, and I want to be there to help, guide, and support every step of the way.
Whether through petals or property, my purpose is the same: to help people feel seen, supported, and at home, wherever life leads them.
Who's behind the bouquet?
I'm your florist, real estate agent, & personal hype woman.
I graduated from Michigan State University with degrees in fine art & art education. I live and breathe form composition, color theory and the art of creating visual interest. After graduating, I made a hard pivot in my career and become a manager for a major fashion retail company.
After having my son, I realized I needed to make a change. Burnt out and uninspired, we packed up our lives and moved to Pittsburgh to start fresh and be near our relatives. I had spent my maternity leave focusing on what I loved and decided to risk it all for my family. And finally do something for me.
I BEGGED FOR AN OPPORTUNITY. JULIE GAVE ME A SHOT.
After moving to Pittsburgh, I knew exactly what I wanted to do.... work with Julie James Design. Julie had designed my wedding and literally moved me to Kim K ugly tears over how stunning it was. My wedding vendors were incredible. I wanted to be able to work along side people, who knew how to deliver not just an amazing design, but incredible customer service. So I went for it.
I officially submitted all my paperwork for, Finch And The Sprout, in February of 2022. After what seemed like 100 years, everything came back and we were the real deal. I remember wanting to jump up and down with excitement, but was also truly terrified of what was next. I knew I had a lot to prove, but I was more than ready to show the wedding world what I had to offer.
MY CUP WAS, FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A LONG TIME, FILLED.
Looking back at the crazy past few years and realizing how tired I had become from well... life. I've realized that sitting here today I have excitement in my bones, the energy to grow and drive my passion, and the confidence to finally be ME. Who knows where would have ended up if I didn't take that chance and risk it all to be forever surrounded by beautiful flowers.
In the words of maria herself...
THESE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS
the smell of fresh lavender, basil and mint
spending too much money at the garden center
early morning coffee by the lake
cozy venues with live jazz music
climbing into clean bedding at the end of a long day
